|Bojangles Kingston Jumpin’ Jive is a fun, social dance held every month with an increasingly wide variety of dancers attending to dance, socialise and listen to some great music.
All social dances are held at The Kingston Workmen's Club which is a hidden gem in the centre of Kingston. It has an amazing wooden dance floor with a capacity of over 100 people dancing. There is a large bar area just off the dance floor which is fully licenced.
If you haven't been dancing long it’s great to sit and watch the more experienced dancers, but don't be surprised when you are asked to dance, after all that's what we are there for.
You will find everyone very friendly and experienced dancers are always happy to dance with our beginner dancers, which will help their own dancing immensely – after all we were all beginners once!
The Club can be found behind the falling down telephone boxes sculpture, set back between Wilkinsons and The Furniture Shop. It is just a few minutes’ walk from Kingston bus and train stations. Parking is available in the nearby Cattle Market or Fairfield car parks.
